- 幼少期を山口県萩市で過ごし、近代日本の息吹を感じ影響される
- 少年期を厳島神社のある広島県廿日市市で過ごし、歴史構造物に感化される
- 大学で航空工学 学士号を取得
- 大学院で技術経営学 修士号を取得
- 学卒後、世界中のMotorcycle に触れながら工業デザイン・バイオミミクリー設計、２DCAD・3DCADのオペレーションを独学で習得
- モンテカルロ社、ディスモンド社で製品開発担当主任に就任
- 1997年、ライトマンR&D社を設立、代表に就任し現在に至る

EVへのシフトを始めとして、この数年で自動車業界は大きく様変わりをしました。
パーツとしてはシンプルで単純なホイールですが、シンプルがゆえの課題と可能性が同居する魅力的な部品です。
